Signing in with a temporary password

If an admin created your account for you, they'll give you an email and a one-time temporary password instead of you signing up yourself.

Sign in with those — you'll land straight on a screen asking you to pick your own password instead of your dashboard. You don't have to type the temporary one again; you just proved it. Choose a new password and you're through to the app as normal from then on.

Your new password has to be different from the temporary one. Keeping the temporary password would leave a password your administrator already knows working on your account, so the screen won't accept it — it says so before you type, and tells you if you try.
